SaskElkana’s “A” Litter

 Our inaugural litter introduced themselves in May 2004 and quickly set about making everything ‘about them’. They all were placed in outstanding homes:

All of the pups have exceptionally strong pointing and tracking abilities, and all are very cooperative.  Five out of the six puppies went through the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association Natural Ability test (scores out of a possible 112):

Angus – 97 Prize II
Annie – 110 Prize I
Attika – 107 Prize II
Augustus – 101 Prize II
Axel – 87 no Prize

Poor Axel was running a near-perfect test when Mother Nature decided to hurl one of the worst autumn storms in recent memory at him during the water work, including thunder, lightning, hail, and hurricane winds. 

Ace spent his puppyhood happily chasing Valley Quail in California.

We are proud of them all, and sincere thanks to their owners for helping us get a Progeny Performance Award* on our very first litter!
